Important Information for Incoming Residents

Maynard House

See note above regarding DTE and phone service. Heat, water, air-conditioning and high-speed internet for this building are included in your rent. You may also receive Dishnet satellite TV through our office at a charge of $35/month. This includes 120 digital channels plus 8 HBO channels. There is no parking associated with this building. Your first month's rent and cleaning fee, made payable to Maynard House, will be due upon arrival. If you will be coming in the fall, the standard move-in date for fall 2008 is Friday, August 29. Maynard House is a smoke-free building.

912 S. Forest/Forest Post

Heat and water are included at this property. We are pleased to be adding free high-speed internet service for fall 2006!Please see note above for all properties regarding DTE and AT&T/SBC phone service.  Comcast is the local cable TV service provider. It's advisable to call for cable before you arrive in town, or there may be a wait for hookup (see numbers at bottom of page.) If you have a Fall lease, your security deposit, made payable to 912 Company, is due on March 15. Please mail it to 400 Maynard St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 to arrive by that date. The deposit is equal to 1.5 months rent (i.e. if your rent is $1600, the deposit will be $2400.) You may decide how to divide this among roommates. Your move-in date for fall 2008 leases is Friday, August 29. We are trying to make the apartments available as early as Tuesday Aug 26 at no extra charge. If you have a May-May lease, your security deposit is due on your move-in date of Jan 15.

On move-in day, you'll come to 400 Maynard, where you will pick up your keys, parking permit and move-in packet. At this time, your cleaning fee of $350 will be due. NO KEYS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT, FIRST MONTH RENT AND CLEANING FEE HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. If you arrive before your roommates, you'll need to be sure that all of the above have been paid in full, not just your portion. Just a reminder: apartments at 912 S. Forest come furnished with living room furniture, dining table and chairs, lamps, and a bed, dresser and desk for each person on the lease. If you're bringing your own bed, please let us know so that we can remove ours before you arrive. Please note that the apartment is rented furnished and we will not be able to remove sofas, etc.

1337 Wilmot/Wilmot Post

Heat, water, high-speed internet and parking are included at this property. Please see note for all properties regarding DTE and phone service. Information for this building is the same as for 912 S. Forest above, with the exceptions that security deposit checks are to be made payable to Post Realty and mailed to the 400 Maynard St. address, and the cleaning fees are as follows: 1br - $175, 2br - $250, 3br - $350.

125 W. Hoover/Hoover Post

Please see note for all properties regarding DTE and phone service. We are pleased to be adding free high-speed internet service for fall 2006! Comcast is the local cable provider. The phone company, SBC, also offers DSL as an option for internet. (see numbers below.) . On your move-in day, you'll come to the office at 400 Maynard St. to pick up your keys and parking permit. Covered spaces are available at $25/month, one uncovered space is included in your rent. Your security deposit, equal to one month's rent, and your cleaning fee of $150 will be due at this time. The apartments at 125 W. Hoover are usually unfurnished, but some furnished units may be available.

1323 Cambridge/Cambridge Post

As this property is a free-standing house rather than an apartment building, all utilities listed below are the responsibility of the tenant. To be sure that all are switched on when you arrive, please call at-least two weeks in advance so that the companies have time to begin your service. The house is furnished with living room and dining room furniture, as well as a bed, dresser and desk for each person on the lease. If you will be bringing your own bed, let us know so that we can remove ours before you move-in. Your security deposit of 1.5 months rent will be due on March 15. Please make checks payable to Post Realty and mail them to the office at 400 Maynard St. to arrive by that date.  On your move-in day, you'll come to the office to pick up your keys and move-in packet. Your cleaning fee of $700 will be due at this time. NO KEYS WILL BE GIVEN UNTIL THE SECURITY DEPOSIT, FIRST MONTH'S RENT AND CLEANING FEE ARE PAID IN FULL.
